Bladder Cancer

The bladder is a hollow organ, example muscular balloon that stores and urine. It is located in the lower abdomen. Bladder coated a membrane that prevents urine is absorbed back into the body. The cells of this membrane are called transitional cells or urothelial cells, and the membrane is called the urothelium.

Sometimes transitional cell cancer to spread into the bladder wall. This is called invasive cancer. Skuama cells carcinoma and adenocarcinoma is rare. These types are usually spread into the bladder layers deeper.
